The Herban Wellness Program by The Laya Center is a support system for natural healing, coaching for holistic living, and therapeutic services. This new program is meant to bridge the gap between conventional and alternative medicine, offering therapeutic services to women of color in greater Kansas City who are at higher risk of certain chronic conditions.

What’s Included

Your monthly plan includes your choice of 2 of the available services covered under the Herban Wellness Program. You will also receive an herbal tincture to support you on the road to wellness.

Available Services

The following list of services are covered under this plan. You will choose 2 from this list each month. (click on each service for more information about that therapy & which conditions they are good for)

*These services can not be booked on weekend days under this plan. Click a service above to find out more about conditions they are used for.

 

Low Income Qualifications:

The Herban Wellness Program payment is 4% of your yearly income. The 3% is then divided into 12 equal payments billed monthly. To qualify you must at least make the minimum yearly income from the chart below, and not exceed the maximum limit for the amount of people in your household. People in your household include your spouse, children, and minors for whom you are a legal guardian.

For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $4,420 for each additional person.

Once you are approved, we will require that you sign up for automatic payments of your calculated monthly fee. The Plan will be good for 12 calendar months, after which you will need to reapply! If you miss one of your monthly payments your account will be closed, you will not be allowed to reapply for 6 months.
