Since this pandemic began we have been following its spread and the symptoms that plague its victims. In our previous COVID-19 guide (see it here) we covered natural ways to boost the immune system in order to give yourself a fighting chance at surviving this brutal attack. Since publishing that excerpt, we’ve been contacted by a few individuals that have tested positive. With the information that we know, we were able to make recommendations that had an immediate impact on relieving our clients of the symptoms. This is their story…

My son-in-law is a 32 year old respiratory therapist at a Kansas City hospital.  He has no underlying health conditions. Because of his interaction with patients that have serious respiratory illness, we knew that he was at risk of contracting Covid19 at some point.

His illness started with very minor symptoms, dry cough and a slight sore throat.  On day 3 his symptoms became much worst.  His temperature jumped to 101, he had a severe headache, chills, and body aches so severe that he could barely get out of bed. A few days later he started to have tightness in his chest and difficulty breathing, which continued to get worse.  His instructions were to stay home until he needed to be on oxygen. At this point he had a temperature over 101 for eight days. We expected that he would be admitted to the hospital the following day.

In an attempt to find some help I called the Laya Center and asked them what type of herbal remedies they had..  Joe answered the phone and was kind and eager to help.  He called their master herbalist with my specific questions and gave me recommendations based on my son-in-law's symptoms and years of experience.  They also told me which tinctures my daughter should not use (should she get sick) because she is still nursing their baby.  I placed an order and Joe brought it out to my car. My son-in-law's fever dropped the very next morning from 102 to 99.6 and has stayed down for 3 days now.  He is still sick, but we have seen a significant improvement and he says he is starting to feel human again.  We believe the herbal tinctures and advice we received were instrumental in his improvement.  The Laya Center also published a blog on Covid19 that I found to be humble, honest and enlightening. The moment they answered the phone I felt that they were trying to educate and help us and we are grateful for the experience and the improvement we have seen in symptoms and comfort.

Creating The Perfect Internal Elements

We are continuing to work with the family as others have started to show symptoms as well. Our approach now is to create an internal environment or elements that increases fire and ether. This means to warm the core of the body in order to release mucus, as well as expand the space in the heart and lungs.

Remembering that the body is an integrated system acting as a whole, it does not think in terms of respiratory system or immune system. We are holographic in our form, meaning that each cell believes that it is the whole being and this works to our overall advantage. This gives us the need to soothe all systems when the body is under attack from any invader, viral or bacterial. The heart is an integral part of the respiratory system since it passes the oxygenated blood to our cells.

COVID-19 forces your heart to work in overdrive to make up for the decreased lung capacity. This makes moving around hard to do, and when you do your body releases mucus. In order to break up the mucus in the body, release it from the core, and expel it you will need these things:

  • Cayenne Pepper (Fire)

  • Black Seed Oil (Nourisher & Mover of mucus)

  • Osha (Lung opener)

  • Seaweed Baths (expel toxins through the pores)

  • Rose’s Heart Syrup (Heart Stabilizer & Nourisher)

A Rose Is Still A Rose

Rose’s Heart tonic is a way of nourishing your heart and circulatory system. Rosehips are full of vitamin C and pectin in a form that the body recognizes. Vitamin C is essential to cell health. Hawthorn is also in the Rose Family of plants and offers flexibility to heart muscle and arteries. Keeping this critical delivery system subtle and flexible decreases blood pressure and take stress from these central passageways. Apple cider vinegar adjusts pH so that nutrients can more easily pass to the entire body.

At this time of stress, strain and dis-ease, we must keep our heart chakras open. Roses have a very high vibrational quality. Keeping the heart open, allows cosmic energy in to nourish and tonify our bodies and our souls. Open hearts have less fear; open hearts are ready to experience life; open hearts are helpful to oneself and to others. Rose’s Heart is specific for keeping the heart fire burning and expanding so that we can love more fiercely and accept help from those that love us. Open your being to the healing powers of Rose’s Heart.
